Customers are fed up with directories anyone can buy their way onto. On Trades Vetted, every listing has been checked by hand, so being here means something.
What you need
- Your public liability insurance certificate
- Your scheme membership number if your trade has one (Gas Safe, NICEIC, NAPIT, MCS)
- Your company number if you are a limited company
- A short description of your business and some photos of your work
It takes about ten minutes. We check every application by hand and you will hear from us within 2 to 3 working days.

Keeping your listing honest
Once you're live, you can change your description, phone number, photos and the towns you cover whenever you like. They go live straight away.
Adding or removing a trade, or changing your website, comes to us first. Your listing stays as it is until we've checked it.
Your business name, company and address are what we vetted, so they're locked. If they change, contact us and we'll check them again. That's what stops anyone getting vetted and then turning their listing into something else.
Sponsored listings
Once you are live, you can take a sponsored spot at the top of the page for your trade in any town you cover. There are only 3 spots per page, shown in a random order, and each one is clearly labelled Sponsored. It costs £12.97 a month per page and you can cancel any time. If a page is full, join the waiting list and we will email you when a spot comes up.
Paying buys visibility, never vetting. Every sponsored trade passed exactly the same checks as everyone else.
