About Trades Vetted
Trades Vetted is a UK listing site where every tradesperson has been checked by a real person.
Most trade directories will list anyone who fills in a form, and some will let you pay for a badge. We think that is backwards. A listing should mean the trade has proved they are insured and, where their trade has one, that they belong to the right scheme.
So we do it by hand, the way the old human-edited web directories used to. Every application is read and checked by a person. Vetting is free and can never be bought.
Trades Vetted is run by GC Software Systems. The founder spent years as a working electrician before building websites for trades, so he knows what customers worry about and what good trades are up against.
